Sorting the Dividend Aristocrats (companies who have raised their dividends for 25-years in a row) based on the dividend growth rate and Dividend pay-out ratio is one way to start when searching for great dividend stocks for a long-term portfolio. Naturally, looking at historical figures is no gurantee for future growth. In the list below the companies with a 5 year annual Dividend growth rate (2011-2016) in excess of 10% and with a pay-out lower than 50% are highlighted.
